PS: Some values in the ranking columns may be the same because it is possible for cities to tie in the final calculation.

Cities Pros/Cons
- The Cost of Living values take into account the cost of two people living together using Numbeo* data.
*The input data used to calculate the City’s Numbeo cost can be seen at the end of the page.

Statistics Ranking
- The values in the Mobility column for the classification and number of train stations were obtained from https://www.rfi.it/it/stazioni.html. The calculation used to generate a final score for train stations was as follows:
$sum(prop("Platinum Train Stations"), prop("Gold Train Stations")*0.8, prop("Silver Train Stations")*0.65, prop("Bronze Train Stations")*0.4)$
which means that the value given to each train station classification refers to a percentage of the platinum station. For example: for each platinum means +1; for each gold means +0.8; for each silver means +0.65; and for each bronze means +0.4.
- The values in Mobility column for International Airport Distance were calculated using the distance from the city, by public transport, to the nearest international airport (usually Milan or Bologna). The maximum value is set by the furthest city (Bolzano → 2h30). So Udine naturally receives +0 points, while Bologna receives the maximum value +4 points because it has an international airport. For every 30 minutes of distance, 0.5 is subtracted from the final score. Verona received +0.5 points for being equidistant from both Milan and Bologna.
